Set up your device
Remember that from the "DEVICES" section of your side menu, you can access your wearable settings, as long as it is connected to the app. These settings will depend on the model you have linked, but among other things, you will be able to:
- Manage notifications
- Update the wearable's software
- Add Contacts
- Find your watch
- Control your phone's camera
- Create alarms
- Enable the Sedentary Alert
- Set up Automatic Heart Rate
- Activate Do Not Disturb
- Wrist Gesture to activate screen
- Customise the screen (watch faces)
- Set up your Menstrual Cycle
We will describe each functionality.
Notifications:
You can also receive the notifications you receive on your phone on your wearable. To do this, you need to select them from this Notifications setting:
Update:
Allows the software update of your wearable. In addition, on this screen, you can see the version of the software you have installed.
Contacts:
With this functionality, you can add, remove and sort contacts on your wearable. When you press the option, the configured contacts are displayed:
You can delete the contact by clicking on its bin icon. You can also sort the list by clicking on the three horizontal bars of the contact to move it to the desired position.
To add a contact, click on “Add contact”. Your phone contacts will be displayed.
Select the contact to add by clicking on “+”.
Finally, you need to select the “Save contacts” option. The contacts are sent to the wearable.
Note that each wearable has a maximum number of contacts in its memory, so the application will not allow you to exceed this limit.
Camera:
Allows you to activate the remote camera shutter, for example, when you want to take a group photo in which you also appear, using a tripod.
By clicking on this option, and also in some smartwatches by selecting its “Camera” function, your mobile device's camera will open. When you click on the camera activation icon on the wearable screen, the shutter will activate, taking a photo.
Alarms:
With this functionality, you can add, remove and sort alarms on your wearable. When you press the option, the configured alarms are displayed:
You can activate or deactivate each of the alarms with the switch next to it. You can also sort the list by clicking on the three horizontal bars of the contact to move it to the desired position.
To add an alarm, click on “Add alarm”. You will enter the alarm editing screen:
Select the activation time, the days of the week on which it will be activated, and the switch to indicate whether you want it to be active or not. Finally, click on “Save”.
Note that each wearable has a maximum number of supported alarms, so the application will not allow you to exceed this limit.
The defined alarms will be synchronised with the watch.
Sedentary Alert:
If you enable this function, the watch will notify you when you have been inactive for a while. For example, if you have been sitting for a long time, advising you to get up and take a few steps. By default, this alert is disabled.
Automatic Heart Rate:
This setting enables the periodic measurement of your heart rate. By default, it is disabled, and the pulse is only taken manually from the watch in its corresponding function.
You can enable it and set how often you want the heart rate measurement to be taken automatically.
Do Not Disturb:
Here you can enable and disable the Do Not Disturb function on the watch.
Wrist Gesture:
This function allows you to automatically activate the screen when you make the gesture of looking at the watch's information.
In many wearables, the screen is usually off to maximise battery life. In these cases, it is very convenient to enable this setting to facilitate screen reading with a wrist gesture.
You can set the start and end time of its activation; for example, so that it does not disturb you at night while you sleep.
Customise Screen:
The screen or watch face provides basic information about the watch: the time in analogue or digital format, and possibly additional information such as date, steps, pulse, etc.
Your watch has several different internal screens that you can choose from depending on your preferences or the situation. From the watch menu itself and shortcut functions, you can easily change the screen.
From this setting in the application, you can also change the internal screen, but you can also select additional screens not available internally on the watch (from the gallery), and finally, you can define your own watch screen.
When you enter this setting, the first thing it allows you to do is select one of the three types of screens:
- Internal: These are the internal screens of the watch. You can preview the selected screen and then select “Save”; it will be activated on the watch.
- Gallery: These are additional screens, downloadable from our gallery. The available ones appear in the lower box; click on the one you want and then select “Save”. A download process will start, indicated by a message on the watch; you must wait until it finishes.
- Customised: In this menu, you can define the screen you want:
By default, there is a default background image, but you can change it to another one in your phone's image gallery or take a photo with your phone's camera.
After selecting the image, you can define the elements to appear on the screen, their position and colour through the menu at the bottom.
Finally, click on “Save”; the defined screen will appear on the watch.
Menstrual Cycle:
In this menu, the menstrual cycle parameters are configured to create the predictions that you can see in their corresponding card.
In the first section, the necessary data for creating the prediction calendar is entered: usual period and cycle duration, and the start date of the last period.
The second section is for setting the notification: enabling/disabling the reminder and its time.
