The battery is one of the most important elements of your robot, since it affects directly that all the functions of the equipment are working at full capacity.
This is why we must take maximum care of the battery of our robot.
For this, below, we give you some tips that will help you get the most out of it for longer:
- If you use the robot daily, leave the robot on the charging base while it is not running, in this way the battery will always be charged when you do the next cleaning.
- If you are going to store the robot for a long period of time, it is recommended to not leave the battery fully charged or fully discharged. The best is to leave it at 60% of its capacity (you can check in the SPC IoT app for the current charge percentage) and turn off the robot from the side switch before storing it. This will prevent the battery from completely discharging.
- If you are going to schedule a cleaning of your robot, leave it placed on the base of charge, and make sure the robot can return after cleaning automatically to the charging base. To do this, remove the obstacles that may be around the base and keep the distance indicated in the manual.
- Only use the original charger of the product, the use of another charger may cause damage to the battery.
