Updating Google Play Store

Google Play Store, as well as Google Mobile Services, are Google apps that are preinstalled on your smartphone and are usually updated automatically.

However, some users have informed us that updates of these services are not successful, which causes difficulties in downloading apps from the Google Play Store.

In this article we explain how to force the Google Play Store update.
Please complete the following steps:

  • Open Google Play Store and click on "menu".
  • Select SETTINGS and scroll to “Compilation version" at the end. Click on the text itself.Play-Store-2_faq.png


The message shown in the image below will appear. Press ACCEPT and the new version will be downloaded in the background. Wait a few minutes, when it has been downloaded you will be able to access the Google Play Store again.
