SD cards
If your tablet has a slot for microSD cards, you can expand the memory of to save more photos, documents, videos or to install some applications (depending on the application).
How do I insert and remove a memory card?
Insert the microSD memory card into the slot of the card reader so that the contacts on the card are facing inward until you hear a click. To remove the card, push the card until you hear the click again and pull it. You can check where the card slot is in the guide included in the box, as well as on the printing of the tablet.
Don’t be rough!
Please do not force the card or the slot. If you have difficulty inserting or removing the card, contact us. We will prevent damage and bad moods.
Your card is not recognised correctly
Please follow these steps:
- Check that you have inserted the memory card in the correct position. If so, the mechanism itself lets you know that the card is correctly inserted with a small "click".
- Check that your tablet is compatible with the type and capacity of card. You can check the product's box, in the product page on our website, as well as in the specific articles for your tablet in our help centre.
- If the card is compatible, and is new, try it on another device that can read microSD cards. If it doesn't work there either, the problem is with the card.
- In the event that the card is compatible, and has already been used previously and works correctly on another device, the format of the file system may not be correct. With the proliferation of so many versions of operating systems, there are cards that have a format that Android does not understand. Android supports FAT or FAT32 formats. To format a card to one of these systems, copy its content to another storage medium and carry out the formatting.
