Settings

The Settings menu allows you to modify the phone settings: Calls, Contacts, Phone, Display, Sound, Menu Style, Security and Connection.

To access the Settings menu, press the Menu key and move through the menus with the navigation keys until you see it on the screen. Press the OK key.

Call settings are in another section, called ‘Call settings’.

Contacts

This setting configures the speed dial memories. The phone has nine speed dial memories.

The indirect memories or speed dial numbers are activated by holding down one of the digits 1 to 9. The number 0 is reserved for the torch.

In Status you can check whether the memories have been applied or not, and in ‘Number list’ you can add the numbers you want to the key from 1 to 9.

To call using the speed dials, just press and hold the key where the desired number is stored and the call will be made automatically.

Telephone

To modify the telephone settings, select the option Telephone: Language, Date and time, Shortcuts, Auto ON/OFF, Battery % and Factory reset (restore default settings, Password: 0000).

Display

To modify the display settings, select the Display option: Font size, Wallpaper, Brightness, Display light, Keyboard light, Auto lock, lock the screen with -> Red key lock and adjust what you want to appear on the Home screen (Time and date, SIM 1, Today's events...).

Sound

In this configuration you can adjust the Call volume, Ringtone, Ringer volume, Mode, Messages and Alert tones.

- Call volume: The volume at which you will hear the person you are talking to during a call.

- Ringtone: The music/tone you hear when you receive a call.

- Ringer volume: The volume at which the ringtone will sound when you receive a call.

- Mode: Choose from: Ring and vibrate, Vibrate then ring, Ring, Vibration or Silent. This is what the phone will do when it receives a call.

- Messages: Here you can adjust which tone you want to sound when you receive a message, I can differentiate between SIM 1 and SIM 2. You can also adjust the volume.

- Alert tones:

- Sound: If it is active, all the previous and following settings will be fulfilled, when turned off it will not make any sound.

- Dialling: When dialling numbers on the keypad, it reads the numbers aloud, if this setting is turned on.

- Incoming Call: If this setting is turned on, when a call is received it will say the caller's number aloud.

- Keypad: These are all the sounds the phone makes when you move through the menus.

Menu style

To choose how you want to view the menu screen: Grid or List.

Security

You can choose whether to activate the SIM PIN or change it. You can also set a lock code for the phone that will be requested when it is switched on.

Connection

Here you can access the Bluetooth, aeroplane mode and other settings:

- Bluetooth: The Bluetooth menu allows you to exchange data such as videos, images and audio with other Bluetooth-compatible devices that are within a limited range, once linked. Options: Bluetooth, Visibility, Paired, File Transfer, My Name, Bluetooth Storage File, Help.

How to use Bluetooth

- Open Bluetooth: To use Bluetooth, you have to activate it first. To do this, check the ‘Bluetooth’ box.

- Bluetooth visible: Check the ‘Visibility’ box so that other Bluetooth devices can find you.

- Paired: Displays the list of synchronised devices. You can also add a device.

- Bluetooth name: Set the name of your device that will be displayed on another device.

- Aeroplane mode: To modify the aeroplane mode settings, select the Aeroplane mode: Applied, Select on power-up or both option.

- Other: Dual SIM, GPRS data, Data roaming (Connect to data service when roaming), Network account, Network selection and Preferred network type.
