Roles of caregivers

SPC Care allows sharing the profile of a cared-for person between different app users.

This option is available by adding an existing cared-for person, but it is important to understand the different roles that can be assigned to a caregiver before sharing the profile of a cared-for person.

There are 3 roles:

  • Administrator: can perform all kinds of actions on the profile of the cared-for person, whether related to the configuration of the device or the profile itself. They can also delete the profile of the cared-for person, unlink the device associated with the profile, or grant permissions to other users to manage the profile, handling requests, assigning roles, or removing a caregiver already assigned to the profile.
  • Collaborator: like the administrator, they can perform all types of management tasks for the cared-for person's profile and device, but they cannot delete the profile or handle requests from other users to manage the profile.
  • Guest: can only view the profile of the cared-for person, as well as the configuration settings of their phone and the log of medical appointments and medications. They cannot make configuration changes but can use the call and real-time location features available in the Home screen.
