If your eBook reader is unresponsive, we suggest you follow these steps:
1) Charge the device.
We recommend using the USB cable included in the box and connecting it to a USB charger for your phone or tablet (not included). Be patient! If the product has completely run out of charge, it may take a few minutes to start up. It’s best to keep it charging for 1 hour. After this time, if it still doesn’t start, try another USB cable. If this doesn’t work either, proceed to step 2.
2) Perform a reset.
First, locate the reset hole. It’s on the back of your device, as shown in the following image:
Once located, with the eBook reader connected to the power, insert a small object into the reset hole. Make a normal press, without holding it down.
Wait 15 seconds and check if it starts.
💡Tips to avoid this issue in the future:
- Avoid overloading the eBook reader’s memory with too many files.
- Rename files to avoid symbols or uncommon characters.
- Ensure that files you purchase and download are from reliable sources.
- Avoid adding unsupported files.
- If you won’t use the device for a long time, store it with a charge between 60% and 80% (approximately).
