This watch is water-resistant, complying with the IPX8 rating of the IEC 60529 standard: maximum depth of 1.5 meters for up to 35 minutes and without movement. If any of these variables are modified (if there is movement of the watch underwater, high-impact water shocks, currents…), the watch's water protection capacity could be altered. For this reason, the watch is not suitable for activities such as diving or swimming. In other water sports, mainly surface sports like rowing or sailing, for example, it is possible to use the watch; but keep in mind that in these situations it is likely that the variables of depth, time, and mobility will undergo some alteration, so the use of the watch is not recommended in these circumstances. The salinity of the water is another variable that could alter the watch's water protection capacity, so its use in salt water is also not recommended.

Additionally, it should be noted that the water resistance capacity is not permanent, it decreases over time as the device is used, so damages caused by liquids are not covered by the warranty.

Microphone and Speaker 

The SPC SMARTEE DUO VIVO has a microphone and speaker. If water gets into their compartment, the audio quality will be reduced until the water drains out.

In these cases, you should use the Water Drain function, available in the shortcuts, which activates the speaker with a specific audio frequency to shake and remove the water droplets that may have adhered to the watch's speaker.
