To keep the screen lit, open compartment (35) and insert 3 AA size 1.5V batteries (LR06). Batteries are not supplied with the equipment.
Note: If you want the screen to light up and the settings and call records not to be lost, install 3 alkaline batteries 1.5V size AA.
Connect one end of the flat line cable into the line cable input located on the back of the phone, TEL LINE (4), and the other end into the telephone socket or jack.
Connect one end of the handset's coiled cable into the coiled cable input located on the bottom of the handset and the other end to the other coiled cable input on the base’s bottom, (34). Make sure that when you pick up the handset, you hear the dial tone.
To finish the installation, choose one of the two setups: desktop or wall mount.
DESKTOP SETUP
For desktop setup, no special action is required on the phone.
WALL MOUNT SETUP
This equipment also has the facility for wall mounting. To do this:
- Make holes in the wall about 90 mm apart, as shown in the following drawing:
- Place the screws. Use screws of the type: 3.5 x 25KA d=7mm.
- Fit the base into the wall mount screw fittings (33) and ensure it is perfectly secured.
- To keep the handset hanging, it is necessary to remove, rotate 180 degrees, and reposition the wall mount piece (11) with the tab facing upwards.
