Inserting Cards
The tray for placing SIM cards and MicroSD memory cards is located on the side. You should use the special ejector pin included in the device box to remove it:
The SIM card format is NanoSIM (the smallest). Make sure to insert the cards in the position indicated in the figure.
Buttons
The SPC DISCOVERY SE has four buttons: on the right side, the power, Volume+, and Volume- buttons. On the left side is the Direct Access button.
The Power Button has the following functionalities:
- Turn on the phone: long press.
- Turn off and on the screen: short press.
- Access to Google Assistant: long press when turned on. It is possible to change this behavior in Settings>System>Gestures>Press and hold power button. By default, to turn off, you need to press the power button and Volume+ button simultaneously. But you can configure the power button to turn off by long press according to this setting.
The Direct Access Button has the following functionalities:
- By default, pressing this button accesses Google Assistant.
- This behavior can be changed by assigning short and long press of this button to activate two different applications. To do this, go to Settings>System>Gestures>Button configuration.
Memory Cards
You can increase the storage memory of your SPC DISCOVERY SE by inserting a MicroSD memory card. The SPC DISCOVERY accepts memory cards up to 256 GB.
Please note that only external storage expansion for photos, videos, and other files is supported, but internal memory expansion for applications is not allowed.
