Configuration

Once the phone is connected to the phone line, it is ready to make
and receive calls. However, if you want, you can set the date and
time, the screen contrast and the way of dialing.

DATE AND TIME

This phone automatically updates the date and time when the first call
comes in and identifies the caller’s number. So the user does not need
to intervene. To do this, you must have activated the caller identification
service with your telephone company. You should definitely update the
year so that the day of the week in the calendar is correct.

In case you want to configure it manually, perform the following steps:

– With the handset on-hook, press the M (22). SET 1 DATE. appears
on the screen. Press the M key (22) again.
– The year starts to flash. Use the keys to increase or decrease
the year. Press the M key (22).
– The month starts to flash. Use the keys to increase or
decrease the month. Press the M key (22).
– The day starts to flash. Use the keys to increase or decrease
the day. Press the M key (22).
– The first digit of the time starts flashing. Use the keys to
increase or decrease it. Press the M key (22). Do the same with
the second digit.
– The first minute digit starts flashing. Use the keys to increase or
decrease it. Press the M key (22). Do the same with the second digit.

NOTE: The second row of symbols contains the seven days of
the week (SUN-SUNDAY; MON-MONDAY; TUE-TUESDAY; WEDWEDNESDAY; THU-THURSDAY; FRI-FRIDAY; SAT-SATURDAY).

REGIONAL CODE

The SET 2 CODE function must not be used in Europe, otherwise
dialing problems may occur.

ACCESS L.DIST

The SET 3 CODE function must not be used in Europe, otherwise
dialing problems may occur.

CONTRAST

There are 5 levels available for the screen contrast. Default value: LCD 3.
Follow the steps below to change the contrast:

– With the handset on-hook, press the M key (22). Press the key
until SET 4 LCD appears on the screen. Press the M key (22).
– Press the keys to select the desired contrast. LCD 1, low
contrast; LCD 5, high contrast. Press the M key (22) to confirm.

This function is very useful depending on the installation location of
the device (table or wall mounting).

DIALING

You can configure the type of dialing: PULSE (P) and TONE (T).
Default value: TONE.

Follow the steps below to change the dialer settings:

– With the handset on-hook, press the M key (22). Press the key
until SET 5 P_T appears on the screen. Press the M key (22).
– Press the keys to select the desired dialing mode. TONE, for
tone dialing (multifrequency); PULSE, for pulse dialing (decadic).
Press the M key (22) to confirm.
