Assistance

The Assistance menu is aimed at people in any risk situation: seniors, disabled, extreme sports... With this function, the user can activate an emergency call by pressing a physical SOS button. Associated with the phone call, the device can also send an SMS message requesting help, and this SMS message could include location information.

To access the Assistance menu, press the Menu key and navigate through the menus using the navigation keys, up and down, until you see it on the screen. Press the OK key. Options: Status, Numbers, and Message.

Note: You need to set up the SOS emergency numbers to use this feature.

During an emergency, hold down the SOS key for a few seconds. The terminal will emit an alert sound (horn) and the call cycle will begin. The phone will activate the hands-free speaker and call the emergency numbers in consecutive order, also sending the Assistance (SOS) message via SMS. If there is no answer, it will move to the next number until one of them responds; this cycle will repeat 3 times.

*Notice* If a number on the list has voicemail, the cycle will end.
