The Messages menu allows you to send and receive text messages (SMS) and multimedia messages (MMS). Options: Write message, Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Sent, Secure inbox, Templates, Broadcast message, Voicemail.
To access the Messages menu, press the Menu key and navigate through the menus using the navigation keys, up and down, until you see it on the screen. Press the OK key.
How to send a text or multimedia message
- Select the "Write message" option.
- Select "New SMS" if you want to write a text message; or, "New MMS" if you want to write a multimedia message.
- Enter the Recipient. To do this, type the number if you know it or press the central OK key to access the phonebook and select an entry. Then, go to Options and select OK.
- Using the navigation keys, move the cursor to the body of the message and start typing the text.
Note: Multimedia messages allow you to attach a file (image, video, audio, etc.). To do this, press the Add option and select the file.
- When finished, choose the Send option.
How to write a message
In edit mode, the default input method is Spanish (Sp).
- Press the # key to configure the text input you want: Sp, sp, SP, Abc, abc, ABC, 123, or Handwriting (to choose the language).
- For normal text input, press a number key (from 2 to 9) several times in succession until the desired character is displayed. If the next letter you want to enter is on the same key as the current one, press the key repeatedly until the cursor is displayed.
- To insert punctuation or a special character, press the * key.
- If you want to delete letters or symbols that you have already written, press the right function key ("Delete") to delete them one by one.
